DUNSTER Show, happening today (August 17), is a celebration of all things rural, with everything from cattle judging and animal parades, to craft and trade stands, plus a variety of entertainment.

There will be competition classes for horses, sheep and cattle; main ring entertainment including Broke FMX Freestyle Motorcross, falconry displays, parades of hounds, horses, cattle and sheep, and more.

There is a variety of music, machinery displays, food and drink, archery and laser shooting, hawks and a host of stands.

Exmoor National Park is hosting a celebration of all things rural at its Big Exmoor Tent – from gastronomy to astronomy, hedge-laying to local gin and cider, to conservation projects.

Dunster Show is a registered charity with objectives to improve, promote and encourage agriculture for the public benefit. Any surplus funds after covering costs, are used in the local community to help charities, farming groups, and provide bursaries for local students studying rural subjects.

Entrance is £12 for adults, £5 for children, and parking is free.
