DUNSTER First School held in its harvest service in St George’s Church on Friday (October 7) and all 144 children took part.

They were joined in the church by the children and staff of Dunster Pre-School, parents, carers, grandparents and friends of the school.

During the service, ;ed by the Rev Caroline Ralph, the children sang a variety of songs, including In the Autumn, Autumn Days, Lord of the Harvest and Pop Go the Peas.

One of the highlights was a whole-school rendition of the popular song Cauliflowers Fluffy, which had many members of the congregation singing along.

The children brought a variety of harvest gifts to the church and, after the service, these were taken to Bampton Court, Minehead.

A collection at the end of the service raised £223 for Asthma UK in memory of former pupil Louis Griffiths.
