DUNSTER by Candlelight collections and donations totalling £7,114 were presented to St Margaret’s Hospice on Tuesday.

Cheques of varying amounts were handed over by Minehead Lions, St George’s Church in Dunster, West Somerset Morris and the candlelight committee to Kara Frampton, representing St Margaret’s.

The candlelight committee was represented by new co-ordinator Dean Lee, founder Hannah Bradshaw and Andy Fay.

Laurie Hambrook represented the church while Ray Hunt and Barbara Robinson were there for the morris side.

President of the Lions Brenda Beer was accompanied by her husband Jim, Veronica Whittle, who took the photograph, her husband Brian, Peter Kuruber and Barbara Austin-Davies.
