MINEHEAD'S West Somerset Nursery had double cause to celebrate this week when stars from the recent production of local pantomime Mother Goose dropped in.
And they left their own version of a golden egg when they unveiled new outdoor play equipment and helped to officially open the nursery's new sensory room.
Members of Minehead Panto People donated tickets for their recent production at the town's Regal Theatre as the top prize in the nursery's Christmas fundraising raffle.
All the money raised was put towards the cost of buying new play equipment and raffle winner, 18-month-old Alice Farmer, was joined by panto member James Scott at the unveiling this week.
James, who played evil henchman Rodney Runn in the production, was also given a guided tour of the nursery's sensory room which was completed towards the end of last year.
The room boasts a range of visual, audio and tactile equipment, including a bubble tube, music and an infinity tunnel.
It was funded by a £8,769 grant from the Big Lottery Fund and nursery manager Abi Moloney said the room was proving to be a big hit with the children.
"The new facility is a fantastic asset to the nursery and the children are really benefiting from it.
"We have a few children with special educational needs and it works so well to have a separate room for them to chill out in," Abi said.
