SIR — During a recent visit to Tesco's, I found yet again the parent and child parking spaces all occupied by cars that, in the main, did not contain car seats.
I therefore had to park in a regular space before shopping with my six-month-old and two-year-old.
When I came back to my vehicle I could not open my car doors wide enough to get the car seat back into the car and so was forced to wait in the car park with a fractious two-year-old and hungry baby until the neighbouring car returned.
I would therefore request on behalf of many local mothers, please do not park in parent and child parking spaces unless you do actually have small children with you.
C Harding,
Luckwell Bridge.
