WATCHET householders Jacky and Romulus Hardman can no longer say there is nothing on the box after a canny collared dove set up home on the back of their satellite dish.

The not-so-bird-brained nest-maker has already successfully reared one chick and is now sitting on her second egg of the season high on the side of the Hardman's home in Wristland Road.

Jacky said she was amazed when she first spotted the dove's choice of nest site and joked: "She's definitely gone digital!"

Thankfully, their feathered friend does not interfere with the television reception and seems to be more than happy with her dish of the day.
