WATCHET II earned a good 62 run victory at home to Ilton II on Saturday.
In blustery conditions Watchet lost the toss and were put into bat.

The Ilton innings got off to a slow start, struggling against the Watchet attack of Lovell and Mark Dunkley, but it was the introduction of young Jason Strong that gave Watchet the breakthrough. He took two wickets in successive overs as Ilton were reduced to 72-4.
The re-introduction of Lovell and Dunkley then wiped up the Ilton tail as they collapsed to 128 all out, giving Watchet a deserved victory, Lovell finishing with four wickets to cap a fine all-round performance.
