Carole Burt, widow of Martin Burt, organised the fundraising event with the help of the club, where he was a keen player.
Martin died in June at the age of 58 after a two-year battle with kidney cancer.
All the couple’s family from Sussex, including ten children and 11 grandchildren, attended the day, which raised £1,105.
The money was presented to St Margaret’s Hospice in Taunton on Wednesday.
Further donations from the funeral, and money raised by Martin’s granddaughter Hana Lawrence, 11, who tackled a Cancer Research UK Pretty Mud obstacle course, were shared between Cancer Research and a small donation to the golf club.
Martin’s golfing friends also donated a bench for the golf course – at the spot where he got a hole-in-one - with a plaque in his memory.
The inscription gives Martin’s name and also his golfing nickname of ‘Berty’.
The Martin Burt Memorial Trophy was also donated and it is hoped the event will become an annual one.
