Minehead United Banks v Stogumber

MINEHEAD entertained Stogumber on Tuesday but found them too strong, losing by eight wickets.

The Banks won the toss and batted against a good Stogumber side and thanks largely to a splendid 57 no from Brian Bisgood and another good knock of 37 from Mark Vickers reached 130-5 against a strong attack.

The Banks' attack was never going to be good enough and Stogumber's 50 came up in the sixth over.

Bisgood and Glen Baker bowled well but an excellent partnership between Adrian Hill and Butler Rexworthy saw the visitors home with four overs to spare.

United Banks: 130-5 (B Bisgood 57 no, M Vickers 37, Penny 2-8).
