Dunkery Beacon Country House Hotel in Wootton Courtenay has won another award.

It has been declared a Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice winner for the second year running.

“We’re delighted to have achieved this wonderful rating in this particularly challenging year,” said chef and co-owner John Bradley.

“We’re very glad to hear that we still managed to stand out from the crowd, despite everything and are proud of this wonderful achievement.

“We’d like to say a huge thank you to our hard-working team during this difficult period and to all of the guests who have stayed with us and left their positive feedback on Tripadvisor for everyone to see.”

The Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards, formerly Certificate of Excellence, celebrates hotels that consistently deliver fantastic experiences to travellers across the globe.

The reviews and opinions are collected in a single year from travellers around the world. The award takes into account the quality and quantity of reviews and ratings specific to each award category.

Dunkery Beacon, co-owned by John and Jane Bradley, re-opened its doors last week.

John added: “We’re so excited to be welcoming back our guests, especially after hearing the news about our award. It has raised everyone’s spirits after the recent uncertain times.

“We pride ourselves on offering luxury accommodation for those wishing to escape the humdrum of day-to-day life and to unwind in a truly tranquil location with stunning scenery all around.”
