AN inquest was opened this week into the death of Hinkley Point B worker Mark Boobyer, aged 44.
Mr Boobyer, of Priorswood Road, Taunton, died when his car crashed with a minibus travelling in the opposite direction on Hinkley Point Road, close to Stogursey.
He had been driving home from work at about 7 pm on December 5 when the collision happened.
The mini bus driver and four passengers were also injured.
Somerset’s senior coroner Samantha Marsh heard evidence of identification at inquest proceedings held in the Old Municipal Buildings, Taunton, on Monday.
Mr Boobyer's cause off death was given as a head injury he suffered in the two-vehicle collision.
Ms Marsh then adjourned the hearing to a date in October this year.
