A FRESH look is being taken by town councillors at proposed new parking measures in The Square, Wiveliscombe.
It follows public opposition to changes billed as a ‘simple, low-cost approach’ to make it clearer where parking was allowed.
Somerset Cllr Dave Mansell discussed the concerns with highways officers and with councillors ahead of a special council meeting to revisit the issue.
Cllr Mansell said councillors supported ‘no loading’ restrictions on the corners, dropped kerbs, and a loading bay in the centre.
