THE Voices of Exmoor choir has presented £1000 to its charity of the the year – Home-Start West Somerset – raised at Proms at Pixton.

The sell-out concert was held at Pixton House, Dulverton, on August 31when Home-Start West Somerset was represented by Jo Watts, one of its trustees and the cheque was presented last week to manager Clare Pound.

Home-Start West Somerset is a family support charity offering friendship and practical help to families with young children throughout West Somerset.

Clare said: “This is a wonderful donation made all the more special by being donated from The Voices of Exmoor Choir’s concert that was enjoyed by many.”
