Thank you to all those who supported Minehead’s lifeboat day on Saturday August 10.

The public clearly took pity on the street collectors and donated the amazing sum of £976.20. At the boathouse, activities and stalls raised £415, and while the crew carried out a limited demonstration close to the harbour the RNLI shop took over £700.

Maybe the weather wasn’t on our side but the community was. Thank you.
