ARTISTS, performers, photographers, carnival goers, traders and people from all around Wiveliscombe and beyond enjoyed a vibrant 10 Parishes Festival recently, in spite of poor weather at times.

The event saw nine days of open artist studios, concerts with sell-out audiences, a carnival procession and street market plus a photo marathon.

“It’s been another successful 10 Parishes Festival, we were delighted,” said Pauline Homeshaw, festival director.

The opening weekend of the festival included a carnival procession with a wide variety of entrants on the theme ‘Go Wild – Back to the Jungle’, while the town centre filled with crowds enjoying live music and food and craft stalls.
