WINSFORD Parish Council applied for and received a grant from Somerset County Council to arrange an event that would bring together the community - many of whom had been alone or isolated during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The parish council would like to thank all those who helped with the event, delivering invitations, putting up decorations, organising tables and clearing up! More than 60 residents attended the event and were able to meet up with friends and neighbours and have a ’natter and catch-up’ over an excellent afternoon tea supplied by Linda Pugsley and her team.

Organisers said that Covid-19 regulations applicable at the time of the event were followed.
