The Joint University Centre (JUC) at Yeovil College is to have a state-of-the-art cyber cafe early next year.
Funds for the project, which will feature 20 computers, come from a grant made to Bournemouth University.
"This is a wonderful opportunity to improve the social environment and the computing facilities for all our students on degree and higher diploma courses," professor Bob Jones commented.
