West Somerset College is closed today after a year 11 student was confirmed to be covid-positive over the weekend.

A letter to parents said it was a precautionary measur, and added: “We will update you as soon as we have guidance from Public Health England as to the next steps we need to take.

“For lessons that were due to take place on Monday October 5 we will provide online lessons or resources via teams for as many as possible. Please refer to the website for login details if you need help on how to access resources.”
