They want to raise awareness and money for Wooden Spoon, the rugby charity which helps disadvantaged and disabled children.
Friends David Dunster, David Lamb, Paul Camp and Andy Eastaugh – all junior rugby coaches for Minehead Barbarians, will be setting out at first light from Combe Martin on Saturday June 11.
They hope to complete the walk in 15 hours, ending on the Minehead seafront at Map in Hands.
“We’re calling it the Exmoor Coast Path Challenge and it’s the full length of the Exmoor coast, with 3,000 metres of climbing and the three hardest sections,” said David Dunster, 37, of Alcombe.
“Wooden Spoon helps children with things like sensory rooms, specialist playgrounds, sports activities and care, and we want to try and raise awareness of the charity as well as funds for it.”
