MINEHEAD and District Model Club, which has been flying model aircraft in the area for over 40 years, will be holding its first exhibition at St John’s Hall, North Street, tomorrow (Sunday August 20).

The event runs from 10.30am to 4pm. Admission free for children and £1 for adults.
Pictured is a model ‘Taube’, a German World War One observation aircraft. The model is radio controlled, powered by an electric motor and has a span of 54inches (1400mm).
