WELLINGTON Baptist Church is set to offer its space to those in the community who are moving ahead with hosting people and families from the Ukraine.

The church’s Revd Sam Griffiths said the space in the church hall could be used as somewhere for Ukrainian families to go, meet up, sit and get refreshments with free internet access.

It would be potentially “a facility to chat, help with practical matters and just space to sit and recover.”

The reverend is considering Mondays between 10am and 1pm.
