CHRISTMAS can be lonely for some – but it may be a bit better for people in the Minehead area on December 25.

Bryan Leaker, his son Ben and other volunteers are offering a free Christmas dinner at Millbridge Church.

They would like anyone who will be homeless or alone on Christmas Day to let them know

There are only 45 places and numbers need to be finalised by Tuesday (December 20).

Anyone who is at a loose end on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day and wants to help is asked to contact Bryan. They will be made most welcome – and will have a free lunch.

“Christmas Day can still be fun so, if you want some company, let us know – we can help,” said Bryan.

Christmas lunch will be at 1pm at Millbridge Church, Millbridge Road in Minehead.
