Minehead and Alcombe Christian Aid Group wish to thank all who so generously donated to the Christian Aid appeal this year. 

The year 2020 will be remembered for many historical things, not least of all the Covid19 pandemic which effected the lives of everybody around the world. It will also be remembered for the outflow of care and generosity in communities, international, national and local across our country and the world. Lives had to be re-set and things normally taken for granted were seen in a much different light.

Because of the pandemic and the social lockdown we were unable to run the Rainbow Fair and the street collections. Instead a Just Giving page for Christian Aid was set up and this raised £410 which went directly to Christian Aid. Many people who struggled with the link to this page will have had the opportunity to donate via the Christian Aid webpage.

During a time of great call on your generosity and charitable giving , time or money, all at Christian Aid wish to express thanks for your generosity.

We cannot know what 2021 will bring but we all hope that when the time comes around we will be able to be closer together, physically and emotionally, to help those less fortunate than we are.
