A CHIMNEY fire in West Anstey was put out by Dulverton fire crews who were called to a terraced house late at night.

The firefighters used a triple extension ladder, a roof ladder, safety at height and confined spaces equipment, chimney gear, and small tools to put out the blaze.

It happened shortly before 11.30pm on November 13.
