ARTWORK and messages from Exmoor and West Somerset schools are to be taken to world leaders at the Climate Change talks in Paris.
And everyone else can send messages, too, at a free ‘Climate Change Tea Party’ in Minehead on Saturday November 28.
The Climate Change Talks’ objective is to achieve a legally binding and universal agreement on climate from all the nations of the world.
Representatives of 195 countries will meet from November 30 to try and agree a plan.
They will be taken messages and artwork from Foxes Academy (pictured) and Cutcombe, Timberscombe, Dunster, St Michael’s, Minehead First and Minehead Middle schools.
The children’s families, friends and the general public are invited to a tea party in The Avenue Methodist Church Hall where the artwork will be displayed people can add their messages.
Mayor of Minehead Jean Parbrook will open the tea party at 2pm and there will be live music and free tea and cakes.
