CARL Clarke took eight wickets as Minehead II won their Division Three South West derby away to Kilve II by a commanding 136 runs.
Minehead were put in and lost Craig Sully for a duck in Nick Hancock's opening over.
Mark Swallow (22) was joined by Dave Lethaby and they took the score to 90 off 15 overs, then Lethaby continued his good knock until finally being caught in the slips off M Reading for 72.
New batsmen Keith Welsher and Andy Hayes found scoring difficult against the leg spin of Graham Tabrett, who finished with 4-57, but as their confidence grew they put together a 50 stand, and with some big hitting from Brian Hamblin Minehead closed on 207-8.
