THE Carew Arms is reviving its charity harvest auction tomorrow (Friday) after a break of several years.
Money raised at the event will be shared between Guide Dogs for the Blind and the Beacon Centre at Musgrove Park Hospital.
The auction starts at 7pm with a brief service to bless the products, led by John Rose, then original auctioneer John Blackley, complete with Somerset smock, will swing into action.
The pub’s restaurant will be closed for auction but fish and chips will be served from 6pm, and all are welcome, as are donations.
