A WOMAN was taken to hospital with suspected carbon monoxide poisoning after being taken ill in a unit on the Roughmoor Industrial Estate in Williton.
Co-responders from Williton were the first on the scene just before 6.30pm on Wednesday.
They initially thought the woman was diabetic but on arrival their personal carbon monoxide monitor went off.
They immediately evacuated the premises and called for back-up from fire service colleagues from Williton and Minehead.

A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: "Fire crews ventilated the property and checked the carbon monoxide levels had been significantly reduced.
"They inspected a commercial oven and gave safety advice."
Carbon monoxide is a poisonous gas which is colourless, odourless and tasteless.
It can make people extremely ill, causing them to lose consciousness and, if not detected fast enough, it can kill.
