MINEHEAD Museum is looking for information on any of the local men who volunteered for the First World War armed forces, before conscription was introduced, and who are now on a Roll of  Honour  on display in the museum.

Interest in the forgotten heroes was revived by a recent talk by local historian Geoff Lloyd on the impact of the First World War on Minehead. It covered not only those who served but also those that were left behind and the social impact of the war on the town.

Geoff and the museum would welcome more information on any of the names on the list.
