SIR — Green land and trees are disappearing from the centre of Williton at an alarming rate.

Now with Magna being centre stage with their new headquarters, will this be an even faster decline?

They are proposing to build flats and four bedroom houses amongst old cottages in what must be a future conservation area in Bridge Street.

We need to take pride in our villages and not let bad planning spoil our future.
