PICTURED are members of Doniford Army Cadets who took part in a training exercise with Williton firefighters at their unit in Doniford. It gave the fire crew the chance to refine and practise their skills in clearing a building and carrying out first aid, with the cadets playing the walking wounded and casualties inside the building. They took two pumps to the cadet unit and cleared the building using breathing apparatus. The exercise enabled the cadets, aged between the age of 12 and 18, to pass the Cadet In The Community section of their star level scheme.
