BUTLIN’S in Minehead is holding a job fair on Thursday (March 15) as it looks to fill some 200 permanent and seasonal roles at the resort.
And it will be giving jobseekers a chance to “try before you apply” on the day.
Among the departments recruiting are accommodation, leisure, bars and catering.
Staff will be on hand to explain the sort of roles available and give candidates the chance to try their hand at some of the skills.
They will then be able to apply on the spot and even have a first interview.
“With so many roles on offer, we know we need to be pro-active in giving local people the best opportunity to fill them,” said resort director Julian Highfield.
“By opening up our doors and inviting people to come to the resort, meet our team, try out some of the job skills and even apply while they are there, we are hopefully doing all we can to engage with the local community and help them find a great role.”
The job fair will take place between 10.30am and 3pm at the resort in Warren Road, and anyone interested can simply turn up on the day, taking copies of their CV with them.
