Medieval re-enactors and torchlight procession light up Dunster for winter festivalThey are among community groups and organisations that have benefitted to the tune of over £30,000 in total in the two latest rounds of grants, managed by Somerset Community Foundation (SCF).
Dunster Memorial Hall received its grant for refurbishment works, to include a new storage space and staircase at Dunster Memorial Hall Museum, freeing up room for extra community space.
Holford Cricket Club’s funding is to improve the security of the club and village hall by purchasing a storage container for cricket equipment and sensory lighting.
