Boomerang, who is 23, was not found by his owners - the Pring family of Milverton - until two days later. He had made his way onto the busy B3227 between Wiveliscombe and Taunton, been corralled off the road by motorists, and took off towards Croford. He ended up travelling to the Sandhill Park estate via Fitzhead, Halse and Ash Priors
