AMONG events to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Jutland in World War One on Tuesday (May 31) is a special memorial service in Watchet.
It is being organised by the Watchet Remembrance Project Group (WRPG) to remember those who died – including 20-year-old Henry Lewis Davey.
The Royal Navy wirelessman with HMS Warrior, has been meticulously researched by Watchet resident and WRPG member Sara Summers.
“We’re very proud of our Watchet guy," said Sara, who has already done over 600 hours of research.
“My mission is to bring home the names and stories of the men who died. They left here with their hearts high and they never returned. Henry was the youngest.”
