TSB bank’s partners and customers in Minehead have raised £1,120 for their ‘local charity partner’, Stand Against Speed 4 Bethany, by holding a charity bingo night.
This means a grand total of over £2,000 has been raised since the partnership began last September.
Stand Against Speed 4 Bethany will use the funds to take young people aged 16 to 25 on the ‘Choice & Consequence’ course in conjunction with Avon and Somerset Police that highlights the danger of speeding.
TSB bank manager in Minehead, Adam Mills, said: “Stand Against Speed 4 Bethany is a vital part of our local community and we’re really proud to have them as our local charity partner.
