Three fire crews respond as barn full of straw catches light near StogurseyNetta Hunt, manager of Somerset Care's West Somerset Community Services, was awarded the not- for-profit-company's Harry Patch Award at a special presentation in Taunton.
The award, named after the World War One veteran Harry Patch who was a resident in a Somerset Care home at the time of his death, was shared with fellow manager Sue Steeds from Frome.
Netta, who is based in Minehead, received a Bristol Blue glass bowl in recognition of her achievements with the PETALs project.
She was said to have worked tirelessly in the roll-out and development of the scheme.
Somerset Care chief executive Alyson Martin said: "Sue and Netta are both exceptional managers and we are proud to be able to recognise their achievements through this award."
