A man threw away a DVD film when challenged by staff at superstore on Preston Road, Yeovil.

The incident occurred on Tuesday, December 11th, just before 1pm. The man selected a DVD film in the shop and left without paying for the item.

Staff saw what was happening and challenged him outside the shop. He then threw the film away and managed to leave the scene in what could have been a gold-coloured Ford Escort.

He is described as being in his mid 20s, white, slim and 6ft 4inches tall. Witnesses also say he had a goatee beard and wore a woolly hat.
