WATCHET Art Club invited Georgie Grant, of the Onion Collective, to judge its spring painting competition on April 26.

There were entries from beginners, intermediate and experience members and the standard gave her plenty to think about.

“It was really good fun and lovely to be able to have a chance to think why a painting affects you in the way it does,” said Georgie.

Two subjects were available – Elements and Tranquility.

The club meets on Wednesday mornings in the Methodist Schoolrooms in Harbour Road from 10am to midday.
