BRINGING their own mops, buckets and rubber gloves, two Minehead town councillors reported for toilet-cleaning duty at the seafront Jubilee Gardens Café on Tuesday.

Councillors Terry Venner and John Malin were answering a plea from café-owner Val Pickard for help in keeping her state-of-the art toilets clean and tidy when they become the only central seafront facilities available to the public at the end of the month.
