DOG walkers are needed in Washford by a charity that offers pet care to older and terminally ill people.
The Cinnamon Trust is appealing for volunteers to help a Washford resident and their dog Blue, an 11-year-old whippet who would relish a good walk.
Many elderly people worry if illness, injury or age affects their ability to look after their pets, feeling that their only option is to re-home them.
That is where the Cinnamon Trust’s national network of volunteers steps in to offer support, enabling pet and owner to stay together.
