THE Lord Lieutenant of Somerset became patron of Watchet Dementia Group when it celebrated its third birthday.

Mrs Annie Maw visited the Forget Me Not Cafe at the Sanctuary in Swain Street for the celebration during Dementia Action Week.

She is pictured with, from the left, Watchet mayor Cllr John Irven, town crier David Milton Watchet and Area Dementia Action Alliance chairman Margaret Tatham, who said the lord lieutenant would be a true friend and supporter.
