I would like to take the opportunity to remind readers of the great service our local post office provides to the local community.

I recently had to renew my passport and decided to use the service at Williton Post Office.

The service I received was first class. I was assisted with the renewal process by very friendly and knowledgeable staff who took my photo in privacy and then completed the forms on my behalf. All I then had to do was to provide my email address and phone number.

I was advised within a couple of days by text that my application had been accepted, and the passport arrived on my doorstep just six days after my visit to the Williton Post Office.

The whole process was very straightforward and I have nothing but praise for the team at the Williton Post Office.

I would highly recommend this service to anyone wishing to renew their passport. Furthermore, in these times of austerity, I think it is a great example of what services the Post Office can provide to the local community. 

So I would urge all readers - “use it, let’s not lose it”!
