SIR — Minehead Town Council has a problem with the possible loss of festive lights in The Parade this coming Christmas (Free Press June 10).

The solution was on page six of the same issue. Invite the local lighting company founded in 1988, employing ten people and three on-line stores to showcase itself locally.

After supplying Hollywood and Big Brother, it should be a challenge and draw in the shoppers.
