CUSTOMERS and staff of Tesco Minehead contributed towards a busy and successful festive period, raising over £500 for their charity partners.

Staff opened Santa’s Grotto, there was a Christmas hamper raffle, and Kirsty’s Christmas Carollers entertained shoppers. 

The ‘Stack the Stocking’ appeal put together 21 bags, three stockings and two doggy stockings for the West Somerset Food Cupboard.

And the residents of Wyndham House residential home benefitted from the store’s Christmas Wish Tree, with each resident receiving a present donated by customers.
