TWO elderly people were trapped in a vehicle after an accident at Headon Cross, near Minehead, shortly before 4pm yesterday (Monday).

Fire crew from Minehead and Porlock went to the scene and used hydraulic cutting equipment to release the casualties, assisted ambulance crews, and made the vehicles safe.
