A MAN was impaled on a fence after coming off a three-wheeled motorcycle in South Lane, Nether Stowey, at 9.45pm last night (Wednesday).

Fire crews from Nether Stowey, Williton and Bridgwater worked alongside paramedics to release the casualty. The operation involved removing fencing panels in order to free him, before he could be put on a scoop stretcher and taken to hospital.

His injuries and condition are unknown.
