A TRAPPED man was rescued from underneath a tractor in a Cutcombe field at 2.45pm yesterday afternoon (Wednesday).

The ambulance service called on fire and rescue crews to help, and engines from Minehead and Porlock went to the scene, off Ashwell Lane, along with a rescue tender from Taunton.

Fire crews got to work with the paramedics to release the casualty who was then transferred from the field to the air ambulance.

The tractor was made safe with environmental equipment.
