A TRACTOR was severely damaged by fire on the road between Bridgetown and Wheddon Cross at 3.50pm yesterday (Tuesday).

Two fire engines, one from Dulverton, the other from Minehead, went to the scene and their crews extinguished the fire using hose reel and compressed air foam jets.

The cause of the fire is believed to have been accidental.
