A LARGE Calor gas tanker carrying a hazardous load caught fire on Washford Hill, Williton, shortly after 9am on Saturday.
Fire crews from Williton and Minehead went to the scene and found the vehicle had had a smoking wheel but that it had already been dealt with.
The crews used used a hose reel jet to maintain a cool temperature and thermal imaging camera to check for heat spread.
The cause of the fire was deemed to be accidental.
